Human
Resources YOU'RE IMPORTANT
Welcome to Eurobank Tekfen's human resources pages.
Being a Eurobank Tekfen employee means being a part of a new
service culture. With its vision of providing financial
services at world standards of quality, the basic elements
underlying Eurobank Tekfen's corporate culture are people,
ethical values, and technology. Of the three, the most
important of course is people and that's because in banking
it's people who produce service and people who buy it.
Backed by the knowledge, experience, and support of its
employees, Eurobank Tekfen has set out to create the Bank of
the future and it invites qualified bankers as well as
recent graduates to join its young and dynamic yet experienced
staff.
Our Human Resources Policy:
In line with our Bank's goals and strategies and taking
our "people first" philosophy as our point of
departure:

with training that will equip them with the knowledge
and experience that will enable them to make a difference,
|
|
|
Regularly monitor and measure employees' job productivity
by means of a competency-based performance evaluation
system, |
|
|

Recruitment : |
| |
Our Bank hires both
experienced and inexperienced personnel in line
with its human resources plan. Our current hiring
needs and vacancies can be seen on our "Now
hiring" page. Applications can be made online
by filling out the job application form on that
page and also through the www.yenibir.com website.
Experienced and inexperienced candidates are invited
to take part in job interviews with officers of
the Human Resources Group that are also attended
by an officer of the branch or unit that needs personnel.
When recruiting people to take part in the banker
trainee program, the recruitment process includes
a general abilities examination, an English language
proficiency examination, and a personality inventory
as well as an interview. |
| Performance evaluation and career management |
| |
The Bank employs
a competency-based performance evaluation system
for its personnel. Performance evaluations are made
over the company intranet and the results, which
are shared with employees, are used to determine
training requirements, career planning, and merit
increases in salaries.
A career plan is developed for each employee on
the basis of evaluation results and knowledge and
skill levels. Promotions are normally made once
a year in April. |
| Training
|
| |
Training programs are organized
to develop our employees' technical knowledge and
personal skills in line with the Bank's vision and
mission.
Training programs are designed and conducted for
banker trainees, for entry-level positions such
as assistant bank inspector, for the career development
of existing employees, to increase motivation and
job satisfaction, and to inculcate personnel in
the Bank's corporate culture. |
| Salaries
|
| |
Salary increases are based on
performance evaluation results, market conditions,
and general economic conditions and take place once
a year in April. |
| Insurance coverage |
| |
Our employees are covered by group
health and personal accident insurance policies
that are revised each year. These policies provide
coverage for health-related expenditures and for
any material losses that may be sustained on account
of accidents. |
| Leave
|
| |
Employees are entitled
to leave time for situations such as illness, marriage,
death, birth, and personal circumstances. Employees
with one to five years of service are entitled to
fourteen days of paid annual leave a year. This
increases to twenty days for those with more than
five and fewer than fifteen years of service and
to twenty-six days for those with fifteen years
or more of service. |
| Working Hours
|
| |
Employees' daily and weekly working
hours and their rest periods and times are determined
according to the dictates of work and local conditions
except that the requirements of laws and individual
work agreements take precedence. In general practice,
the Bank's working hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00
pm.
